I am 15 and last weekend (19th July) I had a 15lb mirror carp on the pole with betane green paste I also had a 4lb barbel. however the picture attached is that of a 17lb 3oz common caught last May and must surely be one of the biggest resident carp in Moon Lake.
I have been fishing your lakes for years catching more than 100lb of carp on many different occasions. we prefer fishing the floating bread technique which works well. I'd like to thank you for having such a brilliant fishery which is my favourite and the lakes are a credit not only are they extremely good they are set in a picturesque setting.
I hope to be fishing there again this weekend.
 
I also witnessed a 24lb mirror being caught and weighed 2 years ago.
